Welcome PVHS Wildcats!
I'm excited and looking forward to this new school year. This is my 17th year as an educator at PUHSD. From 1999 to 2007 I attended California Baptist University achieving a Bachelor's degree in Liberal Studies and a Master's degree in Education with a focus on Teaching. I hold two Califonia credentials, one in Social studies and one in English Language Arts. All three of my children are PVHS Wildcat alumni. I enjoy teaching students, directing them toward successful learning strategies, and supporting them in achieving academic and leadership goals. I also enjoy gardening, walking our dog, piano, and traveling to new places.
Wildcats: Plan on connecting in the class and through Canvas for classroom resources, meetings, discussion boards, messenger, and attendance. AP Gov goes to MyAP on College Board for resources as well, Canvas.
Also, Wildcats, make plans to be involved on campus through the Kiwanis Key Club service organization get involved in the community and on campus, develop leadership skills, and make lifelong friendships and memories during high school. Please reach out if you have any questions.
Here's to an awesome 2022-2023 school year together.
