Professional:
Hello! I’m Ms. Velasquez and I teach Junior Year English, English III, and Academic English Elective III. Teaching students how to write well is what really gets me excited about my work. This is my 11th year teaching in the Perris Union High School District. I have been teaching English for over 17 years and still love it! I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Child Development, teaching credentials in both English and Home Economics, and I also have a Master’s Degree in Education with a focus on Cross-Cultural Teaching.
Personal:
My 24-year-old son is a “Class of 2020 Quarantined Graduate” who earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Speech Communication. I enjoy exercising, cooking and baking healthy foods, visiting the beach, watching reality tv, traveling, and relaxing in my backyard during my free time.
