My name is Diane Pales and I have been teaching in the Perris Union High School District for 16 years 15 years at Perris High School and now I happy to have spent this past year opening up Liberty High School. I have taught AVID 9, AVID 11, Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, and Advanced Placement Biology.
A little about me:
I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Food, Nutrition and Dietetics from Cal State Long Beach and a Doctorate of Chiropractic from Southern California University of Health Sciences. I have been married for 28 years and have 2 children, a son, 21, at UCR and my daughter, 19, is attending Cal State Long Beach.
Some of the things I like doing in my free time are spending time with my family, experimenting with new recipes, watching science fiction television and movies, gardening, listening to science podcasts, researching my family history, traveling, exercising and going on long walks and hikes with my dog Stella, and attending concerts and live theatre.
This year I will be teaching Biology. I use CANVAS as the learning management system. I am very excited about teaching this year at our new campus Liberty High School!

Mi nombre es Diane Pales y he estado enseñando en el Distrito de Escuelas Secundarias Perris Union durante 16 años, 15 años en la Escuela Secundaria Perris y ahora estoy feliz de haber pasado el año pasado abriendo la Escuela Secundaria Liberty. He enseñado AVID 9, AVID 11, Biología, Anatomía y Fisiología y Biología de Colocación Avanzada.
Un poco acerca de mi:
Yo tengo un Título del Licenciado de Ciencias en Alimentación, Nutrición y Dietética de Cal State Long Beach y un Doctorado en Quiropráctica de la Southern California Universidad de Ciencias de Salud. Yo estoy casada por 28 años y tengo 2 hijos, un hijo de 21, comenzando su segundo año en UCR y mi hija de 19, está asistiendo a su segundo año en Cal State Long Beach.
Algunas cosas que me gustan hacer en mi tiempo libre son experimentar con nuevas recetas, ver ciencias ficcionales en la televisión y películas, la jardinería, escuchar podcasts de ciencias, investigar mi historia familiar, viajar, hacer ejercicio y hacer largas caminatas y jugar con mi perra Stella, y asistir a conciertos y el teatro en vivo.
Este año yo estaré enseñando AVID 9 y Biología. Yo uso CANVAS como el sistema de manejo de aprendizaje para las dos clases.
Yo estoy muy emocionada de enseñar este año.
