Hello!  My name is Gretchen Schultz and I will be teaching Biology, Science 9, and College & Career Foundations at PVHS this year. I will be using the Canvas LMS for all classes this year and you can access your class in the links to the left.

About Me: I completed my Bachelor's degree in Biology and my Master's degree in Science Education at the University of Iowa (go Hawks!) and prior to teaching I worked as a zookeeper at Sea World San Diego and Disney's Animal Kingdom. I have continued my education with courses in biotechnology and clinical research at UCSD, and remain interested in zoology and wildlife conservation. For fun I enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, the beach, cycling, swimming and I love to travel - my big travel goals are visiting the Galapagos Islands and trekking in the Himalayas.
