My name is Justin Marquis and I am the AVID Coordinator at Paloma Valley High School. This will be my 16th year with PUHSD and my 21st year overall as a teacher. This year, I am teaching AVID 12. I will be using Canvas as my primary Learning Management system for both classes. I received my Bachelor's degree from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater, my teaching credential from California State University San Bernardino and my Master's degree from California Baptist University. 

I am excited about AVID at Paloma Valley. This year, we have the biggest AVID senior class in the history of Paloma Valley, with 131 seniors! We have an amazing team of AVID teachers, tutors and counselors to help ensure our students are prepared to succeed both in high school and college. AVID is a great program to help encourage students to connect with their academics, their classmates and their school all while pursuing the opportunity to attend college after high school graduation.
