Greetings!

My name is Ms. Cooper.  This is my 25th year with Perris Union HSD, most of which has been spent at Perris High School. My educational background is primarily in Geography, Geosciences and History. I have been teaching for 25 years; however, I started my career as a high school and middle school AVID program tutor during the 90/91 school year in Vista Unified. I have attended Palomar College, University of California, Riverside, Chapman University, Azusa Pacific University, University of San Diego and Mississippi State University. In addition to teaching at Perris High School, I am also an Associate Professor of Geography at Mt. San Jacinto College. This school year my assignment includes Earth Science, AP Human Geography, AP Environmental Science, MSJC Physical Geography, MSJC Cultural Geography and MSJC California Geography. In addition to my teaching assignments, I am a baseball Mom, the WASC Site Coordinator, the site Coordinator for the Gifted and Talented Program (GATE), the UCR GLUCK program Site Coordinator and the Co-Advisor of the PHS Science Club.
