Visual Story Telling begins here!

This industry is all about visual story telling, and that's my focus! I'm a media professional who brings more than 20 years experience in TV, video production, radio and all kinds of digital/online endeavors. I hold a B.S. in Communications and a Career Technical Education (CTE) teaching credential. 23-24 is my second year at PVHS. Before that I instructed at the high school level for the San Diego County Office of Education where I began my credentialed teaching career. My goal is for students to learn new things and have fun, but also develop production skills through authentic media experiences. My teaching style is almost exclusively hands-on training. I want to get students moving with the gear, in front of and behind the camera, experiencing everything Digital Film course content has to offer. I run the course as close to an actual production company as I can, dividing class time between about 20% teaching new things and 80% skill development projects where repetition increases their skill levels.

the Infinite Campus portal which parents and students have access to. 

I strive to ensure students develop the skills and confidence to successfully pursue careers in media if they choose ... and have some fun along the way!
