Hello and welcome to Liberty High School, home of the Herd! A little background about me: I earned both my BA in Psychology and my MA in Special Education from the University of New Mexico. I have taught elementary, middle, and high school in a variety of settings, and this will be my 20th year of teaching. My favorite aspect of teaching is working with students and their parents, as well as collaborating with my colleagues to brainstorm strategies that will benefit my students. My husband and I are both from Indiana originally but have lived in CA since 2008. We have three children, ages 22, 19, and 18, and we also have two dogs (two Great Danes). I love California and enjoy bicycling, camping, hiking, and going to the beach. 

This year, I will be in the Learning Center full-time which is located above the student union. I'm excited to begin this school year with our very first graduating class, and I also look forward to getting to know my new students.
