Welcome!

My name is Nancy Sauceda. I graduated from Cal State San Bernardino. I have been teaching for about nine years. This year I will be teaching Spanish level 1 and Spanish1 for Spanish Speakers. In addition this is my second year  as the advisor for the Spanish Honor Society Club.

I’m married and I have two sons, who also attend Heritage High School. I love to travel and spend time with my family. I love the outdoors and I enjoy hiking and camping. I was born in Mexico City and learning English from amazing ELD teachers inspired me to become an educator. I love to teach Spanish and my mission is to provide you with an engaging and supportive learning environment.

I’m looking forward to starting this new school year, in spite of all the challenges we are facing. I’m very optimistic that we will have a great time learning Spanish. I will enhance your  learning experience by using TPR strategies. This will  include using gestures, signs, games, acting out and story-telling. I only ask for your support and active engagement as we all try to adjust to our new distance learning course.

If you have any questions or concerns please email me at nancy.sauceda@puhsd.org. However if you wish to speak to me, please set up an appointment on https://calendly.com/nancy-sauceda and I will reach out to you by phone. Lastly, this year I will be using canvas and vhlcetral.com.

Warmly,

Mrs. Sauceda
