My name is Lisa Brown, and I have been teaching for more than 30 years, and I've been at Paloma since fall of 2005. I've lived in Menifee for about 24 years with my husband and three children, all now grown.
For our course, we utilized the Canvas Learning Management System. Each week students enter Canvas to view daily/weekly lessons, lecture videos, view assignment instructions, submit assignments, and take quizzes. For my dual enrollment students, we will use the MSJC Canvas webpages. For my Paloma students, to access our Canvas page, you can go to Classlink, select the Canvas Icon, and then select our class from the course tiles. Within Canvas, you will have access to everything you need to get started.
Parents, you should have received information on how to become an observer in your student's Canvas courses. If you need more information, please contact the front office for more details.
Let's have a great year, Wildcats!
Welcome back, and I look forward to meeting you in person!
