Hello Lovelies (that's parents and students)!

I'm Ms. Cammon. I have been teaching for the last 16 years (give or take).  I love the work I get to do.  I'm passionate about educating the next generation and I can't wait to meet you all. 

This year, 2022-2023, I will be teaching 9th grade English and I am excited and (as always) a little nervous. This year is going to be yet another adventure for us all. My hope is that we find opportunities to grow and develop in this challenging time. I have no doubt that our students will rise to the occasion and do their best to not only learn and grow but also to stay safe.

The goals for this class are for students to consistently:

READ Deeply, Widely, and Critically

COMMUNICATE Clearly and Effectively in SPEECH and WRITING

LISTEN with Care, Empathy, and Discernment
