Ms. Miller’s Homepage

This is the start of my 11^th year teaching at California Military Institute and my 23rd year with the district.  Looking forward to this upcoming school year, educating and getting to know all of you!

Cadets if you or your parents/guardians have any questions do not hesitate to email me at alison.miller@puhsd.org. I will reply to emails within 24 hours or less during the school week and on a weekend, I will reply to the email Monday morning (or the first day of school for the week).

All information about my classes (weekly /daily lessons, PowerPoint/Google slides, announcements, assignments, topic tests, and video links) are posted in Canvas. 

Students, please get into the routine of checking your Canvas class on Monday mornings to see what will be required of you during that week.  If absent this is where students should look to see what they missed.

My office hours are the following in room K2:

• 7:45 - 8:25 am by appointment (Monday - Friday)
• Lunch by appointment (Monday - Friday)
• 3:30 - 4:15 pm by appointment (Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday)
• If these times are not workable please communicate with me and let me know so we can work out a time to meet.

My BA is in Social Science and I attended San Diego State University. I have a master's in Educational Technology from National University.

My interests include traveling, hiking, enjoy being on the water, taking long walks, watching sports, reading mystery novels, and spending time with family and friends.

Remember we are all in this together and if there is anything I can do to help please ask, I want to see all of you succeed and I know you can!
