My Homepage

“Not all children will be “Honor Roll” students, but all students should aspire to be responsible learners.” As an educator for the past seventeen years, I’ve gained considerable experience in teaching students from diverse backgrounds and varied academic performance levels. I was fortunate to be hired at CMI from the first year of the charter’s launching, and I’ve been committed  to providing 21st Century instructional strategies to under-served students in the city of Perris.

I received my Bachelor’s degree from Biola University, and a multi-subject teaching credentials and Master degree in Curriculum & Instruction from the University of Phoenix. After ten years of successful teaching and receiving an administrative credential from Brandman University, I was hired as the Assistant Principal at the California Military Institute, and served in that capacity for a four year stint.

In 2019, I returned to the classroom as a middle school teacher and resumed my passion for educating tomorrow’s leaders. I’m committed to spending the remainder of my professional career in the classroom and ensuring that students receive equitable educational resources to maximize their potential. I'm excited to be given the opportunity to provide a safe, encouraging, and challenging learning environment to cadets at CMI, and I look forward to meeting their academic needs and assisting parents with the social and emotional growth of their children.
