Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year at Pinacate Middle School. I teach Language Arts 8 and Journalism. I received my B.A. in English at Whitworth University in Spokane, WA, and have two master's degrees--one in Education (Walden University) and one in English (Southern New Hampshire University).

I was born in Arizona, grew up in San Diego, and have lived in Temecula since 2004. I have been teaching at Pinacate since August 2006.

When I'm not involved with teaching, I love to read, watch K-dramas, spend time with my young adult daughter, and listen to music.
