Welcome,

My name is Dr. William Cloo Ed.D. I have been in education for 20 years as a high school teacher and administrator. I hold undergraduate degrees in Speech Communication and English Education from California State University Long Beach. Additionally, I received a Master Degree in Educational Leadership from California State University San Bernardino and just achieved an Educational Doctorate in Leadership from Brandman University this May.

My current assignment is English 3, which will use Canvas for the learning management system. This course is excited in the survey of American Literature and the honing of writing skills for all of the students. Students will focus on building skills required for critical thinking, analyzing literature and creating compositions. They will examine a variety of literary genres including short stories, poetry, drama, biographies, and novels from classical and contemporary works. Students will continue writing such as essays, journals, discussions and creative writing. As California State Standards are addressed in this course, students will additionally, receive preparation for the Smarter Balance Assessment Consortium (SBAC) and Early Assessment Program (EAP).
